The Us-ophone

Coupling two forms of non-verbal communication.

The Us-ophone is a musical system that allows two or more people to make music by touching each other's skin. Touch triggers the music, and the users' body movements control the pitch. Users can touch each other anywhere on their bodies to make music. One player alone, however, is incapable of producing sound.

Playing the Us-ophone requires that players be highly attuned to each other's actions and intent. When played well, an interplay between music and dance emerges, with each element acting on the other and driving it forward.

there should be a video of our performance of this, and there will be, when i get a few seconds to edit something...
